Queen takes a 16th Visit to the Aus.

The Queen has flown out to Australia for the 16th time since her reign. With the Duke of Edinburgh, she has started a 11 day tour which willtake her across the commonwealth country. On what is being slated as her last visit to the country, Queen Elizabeth II spent 22 hours on a flight from London, to be greeted with a 21-gun-salute, in the evening.
Most eyes, were of course on the outfit the Royal had chosen for her premier of the latest visit. When coming off the plane, the Queen looked exquisite in a sky blue skirt suit with a matching hat. Since her arrival, fashion blogs and Twitter have been raving about our Queens bold choice of colour and how a woman of such age pulled it off so elegantly.Not only did Australia’s female Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, go all out with a gun-salute and choir, but also present were a group of 200 strong school children to greet the Queen upon arrival.
For the 85 and 90 year old couple, the next few days are going to prove challenging and gruelling as their 11 days is packed with at least two dozen engagements. before returning back to England from what could be her last visit to the country, the Queen is scheduled to attend a flower show, have a meet and greet of victims of the Brisbane floods, as well as many more things.
She made her first visit to the commonwealth country in 1954. As the first reigning monarch to step foot in the country, she was seen by over 75% of Australia’s population, at least once in person. This trip will mark the 57th year since Queen Elizabeth II first began her trips to and from the country.
